It was a busy but heart felt day in Grade 2/3 today! We attended a beautiful ceremony in the gym at 10:15 this morning where our wreath bearers Cameron & Monica proudly laid our wreath. Then we returned to class our grade 3s worked on their Remembrance Day watercolour art while our Gr. 2s wrote beautiful across tick poems as a follow up to our read alouds, Bunny the Brave War Horse and A Poppy is to Remember. Tomorrow we will continue preparations for our Readers Theatre skits (oral/visual assessment) on our book study A Bear in War. Please ask your child what prop or costume help they may need. You may have seen the planning sheet come home.
