The Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA) has cancelled all buses serving students in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board today, Thursday, January 11th, 2018, due to poor road conditions as a result of freezing rain. Schools do remain open.  If parents or guardians choose to send their children to school, who are normally transported by OSTA vehicles – they will be responsible for the students’ transportation to and from school.

If you are a walker:

• Leave a message on the attendance line, 613-592-4492, if you are NOT attending school or
• Send an email to werskinejohnstonps@ocdsb.ca

If you are a bus student:

• You do not need to call to report your child(ren)’s absence.
• If you choose to drive your child to school you must be able to also pick them up at the end of the school day at 3:45 pm (or earlier to avoid parking lot traffic jam).
