• We have three parent volunteers: Amala’s mom, Lucas’ Dad, and Justin’s dad.  Our ice time this time is from 10:00-11:00am at the Mlacak Arena. We will start walking soon after I take attendance (by 9:25am).
• Students can bring a water bottle with them to the arena if they like. We will have 20 minutes to eat our regular lunches when we arrive back to WEJ at 11:45am.
• Please dress warmly for the walk over and ensure proper footwear. With all those puddles we don’t want frozen feet – not fun for anyone.
• Student will not be permitted to purchase anything from any of the vending machines at the arena.
• All students must have a CSA approved skating/hockey helmet and skates to wear on the ice or they must stay back in another Gr. 3 supervised classroom. Students who borrowed helmets or skates last time from the school will do the same tomorrow.
• Skating etiquette on the ice at the arena is the same that applies for public skating sessions -no games of tag, chasing each other, skating in the opposite direction, etc.

On Thursday, April 18th, students in Grades K-3 will enjoy a musical production of “The Paper Bag Princess” based on the cherished story by Robert Munsch. This theatre production is action packed – filled with live music, singing, dance and adventure around every corner. Students will be taken on an imaginative journey through one of their favourite stories with educational elements throughout. Students will experience:

• A performance by professional actors.
• 1 hour performance in the school’s gym.
• Talk back and a chance to meet the actors.
• Educational packages for the teachers to use in the classroom.

The cost of the show is $3.25 per student payable through your School Cash Online account (https://ocdsb.schoolcashonline.com). Payment is due by the date of the show (April 18th)! Please fill out and detach the bottom portion of the page that is coming home today when you have made your payment.
