If your child will be attending French Immersion at WEJ next fall, we would like to inform you of a message from our MFI teaching staff:
The school has some French-English dictionaries for each class, we encourage students to bring their own. In the past, school dictionaries have often been mistreated and have to be replaced frequently. Having students bring in their own French-English dictionaries is not only more sustainable, it helps students to continue to develop personal responsibility for their own belongings. Students who have their own personal French-English dictionary readily available in their desk will be accountable for their own personal tool.
Purchase of a French-English dictionary for here at school is voluntary. For grade 4, we recommend Collins First Time French Dictionary. For grades 5 and 6 we recommend “Larousse English-French Pocket dictionary” or “Robert & Collins Cadet French-English dictionary”.
Thank you for your continued support in your child’s learning.
